Rabbits and $%@! Day

Hey,

Check out the latest rabbit damage. This morning, coffee in hand, I walked outside to check out the garden; what a pathetic scene. One of the three dappled willows I planted was nearly destroyed by yet another rabbit. Thinking I was finally in the clear last week, I clipped all of the low-lying branches. I figured the babies couldn’t reach any of the upper growth, so this one chewed through the branches and ate the leaves after they landed.

Today, I searched for work, caught up on some reading for my classes, and tried to stay cool (in more ways than one). It’s been a challenging day; so this evening, while enjoying the milder weather and the sound of the locusts, I decided to check out some of my favorite gardening-related blogs. I bumped into a perfect post from Amy Stewart. I thought I’d share it with you. I love the idea of implementing an official sh!t day.

Check out her blog post and circle back and tell me what you think. I wish you all an un s$$!%# day.
