A short distance from my home is the historic Amos Herr House. Each season I visit to see what's blooming around the house and grounds. It's an authentic step back in time. The original 92 acre property was owned by members of the Herr family since 1844. After Amos Herr's death the property was purchased by the township. The Ethel S. Herr Gardeners, a volunteer group, maintain and improve the gardens.
