Free Landscape Design Plan for Outdoor Entertaining
Maximize Your Outdoor Space for Entertaining & Relaxation
With this Free Landscape Design Plan
This simple, easy landscape design was created specifically for outdoor entertaining. The design plan includes a 10' x 20' deck, a 12 x 12 brick patio area as well as planting beds with plant suggestions. Included are areas for grilling, conversation, dining and relaxation. The design was created to be simple, easy to install and cost effective. This plan is suitable for a beginner or expert. Also remember- this plan can easily be altered to suit your own unique space requirements. You can add many other elements like fountains or outdoor sound systems. You can also start small by building it in stages. You're limited only by your imagination. I have removed the house from the plan to allow for easier viewing and flexibility.
The images show a deck suitable for ground level or a low elevation. This can be altered to suit your needs. The deck shown above is 10" above the ground. To duplicate the plan above, you can use Dek Block foundation piers without pouring concrete. Also, for a free, deatailed deck plan- remember to visit: http://deckplans.com/plans/index.cfm

1. Start with a 20' wide by 10' deep Deck. The brick patio in the upper right is 12' by 12'. You could substitute large flagstone or rectangular concrete stepping stones for the brick. Investigate alternative garden flooring choices to accommodate your budget.

2. Dig out two circular bed shapes. The top right circle should be a bit smaller than the other. Try laying out a garden hose to create and mark the correct shape. Don't worry about being perfect-just copy the bed shapes shown at left.
